"Three Types Of People"

As I continually watch people

Go on with their every day lives

I realize that:

There are three types of people

There are the ones you see every day

They appear normal and happy

They seem to have a perfect life

But they do not

They hide their pain away,

Only to become visible later

When they turn into the other type

They push their true feelings aside

They laugh and have the time of their lives

But only pain lies in the hearts and eyes

The other type person

You can see their pain

They don’t want to hide it anymore

They want the whole world to disappear

So they can get rid of their pain

They are the ones who hurt themselves

They want someone to notice them

But no one does,

So if the whole world disappeared

All would be better…maybe

The last type of person

This person lives in true happiness

They have found their purpose in life

They have dealt with their pain and moved on

They have every reason to be happy

The sun is shining; the stars are gleaming

And the Lord smiles down upon them

Who doesn’t want to be this person?

But these are only found in people,

Who has been one of the other types

Only then could they be this happy.
