"The weather kind of matches the mood," he felt his hand growing numb in the below freezing weather. Spring break had just begun, yet the weather was still as cold and heartless as a dead hole in space. He made sure to keep his grip on her glove to get as much warmth as he could possibly gain. "Yes" she replied in that sad tone. She had been grounded until the end of the month, and that included most of spring break. They wouldn't see eachother for a long time, left alone to conquere the world themselves. So they walked down the sidewalk, slower than usual, down the park on the way to her house. Not much was said as they detoured around to delay the time. Then as they turned a corner, there was a little yellow house pulling them inward; trying as hard as it may to have sucked them in any faster. "Alas, the day ends" he said as they finally approached the steps of her patio. It was a fast growing tradition at the end of each walk. Then with a deep breath, they embraced eachother, still out in that desperately lifeless weather. Though the atmosphere seemed to vanish as they would stand there, deep in their own world of thoughts and heated only by the other. "Tiff..." his voice muttered and nervous. "Hmm?" still lost in that moment she asked. They drew slightly back and brought forth a beautiful kiss with their lips, and embraced once more. It was impossible to part, neither one could stand the loneliness that they would face the following week. "Tiff..." he said it once more. "What?" she sounded nervous as well. They were both breathing heavily, and she was beginning to cry silently. "I love you" he finally did it, said what he felt with passion and love. It took a moment of silence, followed by those wonderful words "I love you, too".
