I am alone; no one’s there

I can’t find myself in this land of despair

Isn’t there anyone to rescue me?

Someone to come and set me free?

Or shall I wander through this hell

And greet those, like me, that have fell

In this fiery pit of darkness and hate

Forgotten souls, fallen, create

A world of malice, one of greed

And take away the love, the need

Will you come, find, and free

The soul that has fallen, me

I wish for you, every night

I wish you’d come, and hold me tight

Take me away from this sorrow and pain

I wish that your kisses would fall like rain

Upon my forehead, eyelids, and lips

Your hands around my hips

And yet alone I stay…

Frozen in this cold still I lay

The frigid winds of life whip at my face

They take all hope, erase

all soul, and essence from me

Come please, and set me free.
