When We Must Part

When we must part and say farewell,

It means forever until we say hello again.

When we say farewell many tears will be shed,

Nevertheless, we will say hello on the morrow when the dawn breaks even if it’s just to the wind.

We say farewell my dear friend but not for long because my darling love, my friend,

We will be together; together on the morrow hand in hand arm in arm,

So please my friend have courage to keep walking on.
