First of all, thank you to Mettie, Nelson Wells, Nobody-n-Particular, Luneko, and Unfavorite Child. I had a rough day and seeing your reviews really made things a lot better. I'd especially like to thank Luneko for being such a faithful reviewer. I really appreciate it! Thank you also to Nelson Wells for putting me onyour favorite list. And both Luneko and Mettie deserve a shout out for their excellent contructive criticism. :)

Here it is: a little poem about the "somewhere" inside my mind where my dreams take flight.

Somewhere

Somewhere far beyond the stars,

Within the reaches of my mind,

There dwells a land beyond compare

That only I can find.

-

My heart is never lonely there,

Yet no one’s there but me.

No standards weigh or tie me down.

There I can simply be.

-

A land where magic’s truly real,

Where dreams always come true,

There I can be as wise as time

Yet still be young and new.

-

It has no name and needs one not,

For then it can’t be real

And then my dreams would slowly die,

With nowhere to appeal.

Please review! Thanks!
