Try as I may,
Clarity seems to be
my main priority.
"Give me fuel, give me fire,
give me that which I desire."
This you shall never hear me say.
---------------------------
Green and round,
impressing the thought and the eye,
of gold trimmings.
Hidden inside: A Lifetime
of memories and achievements.
Goals not accomplished.
What is to become of this
emerald?
Beauty, it contains, yet nothing more.
An empty promise,
a vicious friend,
stabbing in the back.
An empty mind,
tired of it all.
Searching for the truth,
yet finding the Oracle
is a myth, a legend.
Caramel crayons, highlights
Lost in that sea of reality.
Psychosis, not pain
is my life, my reality.
Fall into the sky
of gold orbits and treasures.
Bless me for thinking,
Curse me for denying:
I know you not.
Become that emerald, dear friend
So that I may love you once more.
Become, as I cherish you for your
Outermost beauty.
Offend me not.
Tear not the blood stained flag of my heart.
That flag, with that Black Eagle.
I am a Black Eagle,
and the blue and white sea
cannot change that, stop that.
The blue sea is my enemy.
One thing which does not care to know me.
Only banishes me, murders me
Because I am from the family of
Blood Red Flags.
Enter the Modern World,
but hear not of the Secret Cold War
of the Mediterranean.
Blue seas control ships, people.
But I am a Black Eagle
and I fly free from the wrath,
the control of that blue monster.
You cannot control me.
I have the spirit of the Black Eagle,
the mind and the body.
I will fly free: you cannot control me.

A.N: Yay!! My poems are becoming more flow-y and Sylvia Plath-y! (not to mention the deepness: no one in North America knows what I'm talking about.) Currently listening to (motivated by): "Make Me Bad", KoRn. & "Before I Forget", SliPKnoT on LaunchCast, of course. Lots of symbolism in this poem, people (see if you can find the symbols)....it's like an Easter Egg Hunt! P.S. Although I am somewhat hyper, the poem is meant to be angsty. Thanks to all who understand.
