seventeen girl.
lyin' down on the bed
doesn't get to sleep
every day she is imaginin' be someone else
she doesn't want to wake up
'cause in that world apart
all is perfect before her eyes.
startin' to realize
the truths aren't so easy
everything fades to hide under the blankets.
bein' a seventeen girl
pretend to smile
keepin' a suitcase full of dreams
travelin' that way
feelin' alone and askin' to an old doll;
someday, my dreams will come true?
drilling the head in circles
confusion takin' over
every night she is tryin' to understand
why all has to change?
but she doesn't want to know
how to go by without look back.
people just walks to live
live with heart it's hard
everything fades to hide under the blankets.
bein' a seventeen girl
swimin' into tears and laughs
what is really real?
for some reason; I'm not alive
feelin' alone and askin' to an old doll;
someday, my dreams will come true?
what can I say?
c'mon girl, a lil' faith in you, please
what will you do?
escape now or you can spread your wings
and move on away the fears, never shame
.........just be who you are.
