Ok, you guys may have known that when I originally started this sereies, it was supposed to be in script format and originally had five members, but I didn't like it. So here's the introduction to my series "The Outcasts". One-shot. Look for the series!
You know who they are . . . they're the ones that everyone makes fun of, or pays no attention to at all. They are the ones who can be seen in the corner; they're the ones on the outside looking in.
They are outcasts. Every family has them; every school has them. Every city, stateprovidence, and country has them. There are many of them; alone, forgotten, ignored.
There are many reasons why these people become outcasts: they're considered weird, they don't act like everyone else, or they're just unknown.
Whatever the reason, the fact is that they are everywhere, and when they join together, they can become forces to reckon with.
It was a quiet day. Birds could be heard chirping all around the woods. A cool wind gently blew throught the trees making the tops dance gracefully.
The woods were a quiet place; not many ventured into this world, and if they did, they didn't go very far. That's why these woods were the perfect spot for the Hideout.
Three teenagers lived in this hideout, none wanting to be found. They made up the group known as the Outcasts, a band of three superhero teenagers. No one knew who they were or where they lived, nor did they try to seek them out.
They had been living at the Hideout for a few years now, the only company they had was each other. They were at one time regular people, but fate can play cruel tricks on people and so was the case for these three. Living alone, these three teenagers quietly accepted their fate and left their old lives behind: including their past selfs.
They left their families behind; they left their schools behind. They left all their friends and other relations as well as their own names and personal lives behind. Now they live their lives in seclution and don't allow anyone they know to contact them lest it should jepordize the others.
Yes, it can be a lonely life, but it can also be a great life. Having superpowers gives these three teenagers something most others can only dream about: they get the chance to save the universe! But with the saving there also comes the enemies . . . enemies that would kill these three if given the chance.
Yet the Outcasts still go on, fighting for the innocent like you and me. The three teenagers have easy names to remember; names that can't easily be forgotten: Shadow, Ghost, and Andy.
Shadow, the leader, is probably the most quiet one as well as the strongest. He can lift things far greater than we could ever imagine and, even while lifting these things, he can set up a force field around his friends, saving them from whatever a villain could possibly do to them.
Then there's Ghost, the tomboy. She takes everything literally and is a serious person, but she isn't afraid to crack a smile every now and then. This pale girl has powers of ghosts - invisiblity, flying, going through solid objects - this is how she got her name.
Finally there's Andy. Andy has no powers of his own but is always up for a practical joke. His greatest ability is his wide knowledge of machinary and how it works. Inventing many of the gadgets the team uses, he helps in more ways than he realizes.
These three come from different places and are as different as can be but they share a common connection - all three are outcasted from their old lives and are dedicated to keep the universe a safer place.
