cold and brittle

shattered and crippled

this is what death does to the living.

no where to run

no where to hide

it’ll always be sitting right by your side

death is waiting my friend

waiting for your time to end

all the grim would have to do

is simply reach out to you

with his fingertips he will nourish

your life will be takenwith quite aflourish.
