Ink

So many colors to pick
Choose your design, they'll make it stick
Forever and an eternity

Seems like a marriage
No wonder they make you sign a contract
Expensive though they may be
You'd want quality from something for eternity

Alas, my ink is fading
The bright blue now is greying
So many summers of sun
Forgetting the sunblock

Now results in a faded star
And a lightning bolt
Of blue and yellow
Leaving me wondering about
Retouching

With me forever
My lighting bolt and star
So what's the significance?

I have no clue
It just looked cool
And I was only sixteen, too
