Hi! I've been trying to get to work on my story Lunar Chaos, but I'm stuck in a world many call writer's block. So, I decided to post this crappy poem I made a few months ago. It may not seem much, but I do hope it doesn't suck as bad as I believe.
It may seem weird and all, but this idea had been swimming in my head a year ago, and only after months have past had I decided to write it, and another few months before I decided to post it. It definitely isn't my best work, but I AM only a mere fourteen year old girl whose shielded from the harsh reality called life. Sure I have my bad moments, but doesn't everyone? Yet because of this I cannot fully convey what I wish to say, especially if it is related to sadness. I've never felt such a deep emotion, and I hope you understand.
Oh well, enough of my rambling. Here's the poem! Remember to drop a comment or so. Constructive criticism is welcome.
CAMERA LENS
by: Luminous Moonflower
From where I stood outside her gates
I see her graceful form
Her thoughts amidst with folded arms
She viewed the place from where she’s born
Dark silky locks that frame her face
Such length of hair a rarity
Eyes of brown, so strong yet weak
So filled with child-like purity
Height not so tall, yet not so short
Her skin so pale yet fair
A normal nose and two ears at side
Rosy lips not many shared
An aura of pure innocence
So rare for a woman her age
Shielded from the world she was
Trapped inside an unseen cage
Never to experience hurt
This I noted down
I also knew, despite her smile
Deep inside she wore a frown
For she could never live like me
One who’s free to fly away
To anywhere I wished to be
Free to voice the things I say
And now as tears slowly fall
From the fallen angel’s eyes
I cannot help but tear as well
Seeing her soul fall in demise
But when I see strong sets of arms
All seems bittersweet I sense
In the arms of her lover I sigh sadly and look
Watching her bliss from my camera lens
