Prologue

“Goddess Nasca, I pray to thee: All I ask is to bring help, whether it creature or human, witch or mortal to help our world; to win our fight. My only wish is to preserve our world and let everyone live on.” A young elemental prayed desperately, gazing up into the darkened sky. “Please, hear me and send our much needed help. Even if I and mine perish before this night is over, please send the so much needed help so that our world still has a chance to live on. This is all I ask for.”

The elemental ended her prayer and silently gazed at the sky that had once been as clear as a sky on a bright summer’s day. But now it was cold and dark, just like the enemies that attacked her beloved world.

A second elemental walked up behind the female and placed his long, slender hands on her shoulders. He wrapped his arms around her shoulders and held her close.

“Come on. There’s another War Meeting gathering. The remaining creatures and human leaders will be there. They are waiting for the new information we collected.” He told her.

“May the gods grant my prayer.” She muttered as she allowed herself to be led away.
