They held her packaged heart

(marked fragile)

between their pink glossed

f i n g e r n a i l s

and told her she would always be

their everything,

their best friend,

promising her a cherished forever,

-Forever- until their first fight and

they shattered all her dreams

with hidden, forbidden whispers

and left her isolated and

-crying- to herself.

They played telephone with her

world,

spreading rumors like wildfire till she was

the world's biggest

S-L-U-T

(whispered and

coughed)

So they could still be

Sugar and Spice-

Nice girls,

as they CRUSHED her.
