Blind Intent

You're so nervous on the stage,

I can see it in your eyes.

They glaze over with fear,

As you try block out the cries

Of "You Suck! No more!"

But those cries and those fears,

Are all within you head.

The glaze has blocked your sight,

And you believed what your mind said.

You did not think we could applaud

Or cheer or watch in awe.

You let your worries take over

So thus your doubts were what we saw.
