Darkness enveloped her every fiber, the smell of unwashed socks wafted to her nostrils, flaring in distaste. The bit in her mouth tasted of cold metallic, stretching her lips farther than they were ever meant to go. The duffel binding her wrists tore the skin clear away, chafing harshly. Her muscles cramped from being in the fetal position for unknowable hours. Her mind felt heavy with cotton and with every breath, her chest heaved poignantly as she suffered the multiple rib fractures she received when she was tossed into the dank room where bolts rattled, having a mix effect on her, the knowledge of being with machinery calmed her but there was a feeling of psychological damage liable to kill her.

The dark blindfold that was fastened tightly around her head was yanked off without mercy, pulling hair along with it. The blinding light caused tears to come to her eyes, flooding her thoughts. At first all she could make out were two shiny black shoes without any scuffs. The body kneeled down next to her broken body and he gleamed with the lust of control. He fisted his hand quickly and shot it at her face, stopping only centimeters from her nose. He wanted her to flinch, though how could she flinch when her mind and soul weren’t really with her.

‘Little girl, what makes you so important?’ He glared at her, losing interest fast. The best thing was for him to forget that she was there. That’s the only way she’ll be forgotten.

‘Captain, we’re coming into Eurudi Port in 2 minutes.’ A voiced boomed over the ship and a sick smile overtook his twisted face. Rising straight, the man left slamming the doors shut, leaving her by herself in the room that turned out to be a bathroom. The bolts were from a medicine cabinet coming unhinged.

For the first time since she was captured, she felt a hint promise. Forcing herself to stand, forgetting that her back resisted, she opened the cabinet with her shoulder, causing a deep cut to bleed through her thin tunic. They definitely underestimated her abilities, for they left a shaver in plain sight. Hearing footsteps she quickly bumped it and grabbed it with her hands cutting herself in the process, her hands becoming sticky with blood.

Horrible hands grabbed her arms and pulled her out of the room. They yanked her through the crowd who were all too busy to notice them pulling a girl around with bindings and bruises covering her legs and arms. As she was pulled through the crowd, the men in clean suits surrounded her so no one could look in and find her. The smells bombarded her senses, causing dry heaves to take over her body, but they kept their pace. Weakness took over and she allowed them to drag her harshly on. She could hear the crunch of the tossed away trash coming from their shoes.

Suddenly, she was grabbed by the elbows and cruelly forced her onto a platform alongside the suits. The platform shot in the air, carrying them to a far side of the port. Their grip didn’t ease when their fast flight came upon a starship. At their slowing approach, she was forced to her knees with her arms still being held behind her making the duffel holding her wrists together twist brutally, cutting of circulation to her blue fingers. Making no sound caused even more pain for her for she had to concentrate on not crying out in agony.

The platform slowed and at the sound of the connection between the platform and a hatch, she twisted ever so slightly. She was pulled to her feet and forced to step ahead, as soon as she got off of the platform a blinding pain overcame her shoulder as she was struck on her right. The force of the blow pushed her on her side where she struck her head as it hit the floor.

Her memories were faded into fast moments of bright deafening noise that shot all around her, a cool hand over her eyes and strong arms holding her down as flows upon flows of pain shot through her body.
