The Prelude

The epitaph of night is woven into magenta clouds of a rising dawn

Whispering epic tales of shifting shadows and shining stars

Tainted midnight blues are bleached by fire-laced winds and melt into crystal dew

The sun extends luminescent fingers across a slowly burning sky

Morning has spoken and the blackbird realm of night is finally broken

-

Night-shadows gently recede like the tide of an endless shore

Taking back its blackbird haze tinged with innocent fear

The valiant sanctuary of night falls to a mystic kingdom of light

Equality falls as coalescent pedals of a cosmic rose

A pedal to blanket the earth in opaque blackness

A pedal to burn away charcoal skies and overt fears

Blossoming in the stars
