Goldfish

The ignorant fish.

I wish I could be like you;

Eating all the flakes.

So cute, very small,

Unaware of the outside,

Stupid, stupid fish.

Hiding from the world,

You’re just waiting for nothing,

Ignorance is bliss.

You do not eat grapes,

Nor do you eat cantaloupe.

Fruits are things you hate.

“Damn that food!”, you say.

“I cannot eat such garbage!”

I am outraged, yes.

I really like fruit,

Your exclamation scares me.

So I feed you flakes.

“Mmm, flakes!”, you will say,

But, this confuses me so,

Because fish can’t talk.

Oh, you stupid fish,

How much ignorance is bliss?

You may have too much.

The ignorant fish,

Swimming away all the days,

Eating all the flakes.

AN: Well, I’ve gone and done it again. Ruined a haiku by typing it in nine itty bitty ones. This damn thing won't let me put it into the nine itty bitty groups (I forgot the word for it.) so I have no idea how I can format it the right way. Please, help me!
