Statue of a Lady

Elegant, calm, serene,

Dancing to and fro throughout a lost dream,

Innocent, blank, cold,

As she dances with a parasol to and fro,

But in her heart as deep as the sea she’s

Frustrated, angry, hurt,

As she gathers dust on her hands.
