As you take your leave

As you take your leave,

I watch you in shame.

All because of you,

I have become tame.

As you take your leave,

I am the one to blame.

All because of you,

I am not the same.

Why are you leaving?

I don't like this game.

Inside, I feel sadness and anger

An undying flame.

As you take your leave,

I watch you with moist eyes

You are the reason

For all my cries.

As you take your leave,

I hope these are all lies.

I am bound to you

With unbreakable ties.

I sit here watching you,

Letting out long, unhappy sighs.

As the tears stream down my cheeks,

I whisper my last goodbyes.
