in the shower
Author:
poetic abortion PM
I muffle the cry until I taste blood upon my tongue, the rain hides my tears as the heated fog hits my face.

In The Shower
By: Kuroi-Hoshi

my incohorent mumble
is softened by the heated rain
that pound mercilessly against my
bare skin

I hear the screams
I feel the tears sting
and I cry for what is kept
inside

the water's silky hands soothe
smother my cry as I bite down hard
upon my lip

(muffling the dire scream)

blood dribbles down my chin
and the water is now a bright
shade of red
