Words

Words don’t come easy
I can say it to my friends and family
But not you
Is it because I think that it’s true?
But please understand that I always will
And always do
Love you

I can’t say these words though I know how
I want to talk but there’s no sound
Even now
When the moment is right
Instead I go home and cry
In the night

These words seemed so easy
But are so hard to say
And if our paths cross again some day
Maybe then I will tell you
That I always will and always do
Still love you

Inspired by being told by someone that they would never see me again and I knew how they felt about me. I didn’t feel the same way, but I still care and it’s hard to not be able to tell someone that.
