Ignorance

There is no greater sin than to ignore
But my pity is for those who suffer this sin
From the one whom they adore

The eyes refuse to see
Even though you beg
"Please! Look at me"
Those ears--those darling ears
Never listen
No matter how dedicated your "Oh, my dear"s
And those hands, that skin you wish to touch
It will never happen
Though you want it so much

Love begins to fester inside you like a cancer
You cry until you're hoarse
Question the night, but receive no answer
And so, dear dreamer, when love at your door begins to creep
I implore you
Turn aside and let your heart sleep

------------

If it's crap, I don't mind, I was just spinning it aloud while I waited for my rescue from hell. ::grins:: It came. :)
