Cage
I see a bird twittering a song
In its cage pitifully enslaved.
It sings of winds in its wide spread wings:
A freedom long lost and forgotten.
I see a man walking on the street
Who thinks of nothing else but his greed,
Realizing not that the world's his cage
As he is his own master and slave.
Of woods or bricks we build our cage
Enclosed in a world we think is save;
Never got to know the world outside:
We're such stubborn-minded human kind.
