I got home and was anxious to read,

Entrys from my fellow authors with speed.

I turn on the computer and get a soda,

I sit in my soft chair and sink as small as yoda.

I put on my headphones because it's late,

And any loud noise would make my mom irate.

So now I head to FictionPress,

And look for reviews, no new ones I guess,

So now that's done, now where to begin?

I decide to go to the "Just In",

So I scroll down, see a poem bout guitar,

And out of nowhere I hear, "HYAH HYAH HYAH!"

My headphones shook, and off the chair I fell,

And I said to myself, "What the hell?"

So I scroll back up, and what do I see?

A guy teleporting, throwing punches at me.

He wants me to kill him, and I'll get an iPod,

I already got an Mp3 player, nimrod!

I've never killed anyone, much less a dude,

On a computer screen, even though he was rude.

So to all of you with your computer's on,

When you go to FP, watch out for Shao Kahn!
