Piecing me together

Through the scattered thoughts

Warm and soft

Comforting and

Just so

So

Indescribable

Even the poet in me

Has the trouble with syntax

And holy wordage

God why do you

Bestow on me such love

Such perfect love as his

Red light running mistake

Because I took the fizzy pop

Going through my head

As a drug

Such a drug

That feeling where I could just peacefully

Drown

And not have anything to regret

Because you have made my life so right

Somehow

I asked you to make me cry

When you showed me how much

You cared

And when it finally sunk in

With this jargon of mine

I did.
