Looking through my hazel coloured window
I see the world with wonder, love, surprise, hate
But I only see what the window shows me,
What my window sees.
And I watch it silently,
Unable to move, unable to speak the words that fight inside my mind,
That’s what made me realize the hazel window is my prison.
My invisible prison,
Which hides me from the world, yet shows it to me freely
Nothing can save me I realize,
I’m trapped inside myself
Only able to see through my hazel coloured window.
Yet you saw me
And loved me.
Now my prison’s shattered like broken glass, my window
And now everyone can see me
I’m no longer trapped
I’m free.
