Time has passed

And now its lost forever in the darkness of unknowing.

The darkness I can’t touch,

Can’t see, can’t feel, can’t hear,

Yet I know it’s there.

I know it’s at my fingertips,

So close yet so far away

Destined to be beside me forever

To spin its circles around my heart and soul,

To taunt my spirit

My longing grows too great to stand,

My tears thick, despair

Yet it comes no closer
