The pain that comes from friends

I have a pain
it comes and goes
it's like a drain
with high and lows.
It's only cure
the many lies
pretending to be pure
but then hope dies.
I feel it crush
my heart and soul
and the feeling is such
I cannot hold.
No one can save me
no one can heal it.
The pain comes from me
you cannot defeat it.
But that is a pain
that comes from friends
lies from them you gain
and your only friend, The End.

I wrote this poem because of the problems I’ve been having with my friends. It really sucks and it bothers, but there’s really not much you can do about it, eh? We all need friends, in the end, no matter how much you don’t want to admit it, but everyone prefers false friendship instead of being alone. Because at least when you know a friendship is false, you know what to risk and to not go very far, but being alone and having misery as company… Well, there comes a time when it starts messing with your head… I don’t know, anyway, this is the result of my feelings, hope you like or can relate.
