pressing glitter onto static kisses,
muffling the whispers
(that I've always believed in)
and we're melting into flowers together
with fireworks to feather off in the distance
of somewhere that no one can reach but us.
We were thrown about gracefully between
the spaces of time, pushed away just to
spring back like idealistic magnets,
'till we caught up and crashed together in my
gloriously scribbled prose,
and you broke songs into tiny pieces of romance
leaving them within the palms of my hands,
and now all I really want is to tip toe up to the stars,
fly away with you and
cling tightly to your I-love-you's,
just to fall forever into our own version of
once upon a time.
