My father is an incredible guy
Instead of some fun, he always would try
Caring and helping with everything
He gave up his free life for us
Always working and straining himself
Every day he grew more distressed
Lived a hard childhood, yet never weakened.

While I used to think selfishly
I now admire my dad
The things he has gone through
The person he is.
