Time Keeper

Memories scattered

For all to see

Your life, shattered

Alone and dirty

Fate keeps time

On a ticking clock

One last rhyme

Before the walk

Down dark halls

Through bright doorways

Run into stoned walls

Find the stairways

Spread your wings

On the rooftop

Jump from the awnings

And let your tears drop

Time runs after us

To mature us all.

No longer ageless

With wings to break our fall.

By a ticking clock

Fate keeps time.

Watch the doors unlock

Your life and its ending chime.
