Where the buildings
Gleam brightly
In the sun

Smile.

The City of Crystal
A place where the sky
Is so clear
And so blue
The broad roads
Are lined with
Green trees
Whose leaves

Wind.

The City of Crystal
Which has known
No suffering
Or hardship
Where the people
Live freely
And in harmony
With one another
There is prosperity
And wealth for
All.

The City of Crystal
Will it always
Be this way
Will the city
Stay this beautiful
And will the people
Always be happy
Forever?

One day they forget
How things stayed
The way they were
How the city had
Stayed so beautiful
How the people had
Stayed so happy
They forgot
And when
They forgot
Everything was
Lost.

The City of Crystal
Crumbled into ruin
The buildings decayed
The people fought
The sky darkened
The trees withered
Beauty was eliminated
Happiness was forgotten
And the City of Rust was
Born.
