Author: bayshel-wass Just thinking about what it would be like to be a girl who gives up being who she is for the love of a man. Kind of a sad thing to me, but it happens too much.

The Stepford girl
Looking into shattered
glass.
A shadow of her former
self
And yet she does not know
it.
Her desires for love so
strong
She would do anything for
him.
Sacrificing everything she
is
For who he wants her to
be.
She's a different person
now
Unrecognizable to her
friends
Everything he says
To agree with it, she
continues to bend.
Her aura changed
Her thoughts malleable.
She'd fulfill his every
whim.
Whether it's truly her
Or maybe too much of him.
Maybe her spirit's still
trapped inside.
Maybe there's some key
he's managed to hide.
She's locked away inside
herself.
She's become that perfect
Stepford girl.
