Fantasy that is Reality

All alone, in the dark… looking

Looking for a way home

Searching for the key

To the lock that is her home

The shadows begin to close in

They swallow her whole

She is then falling in a dream

A dream that turns bad

A nightmare

She opens her mouth to scream

No sound escapes from her body

She's stuck between thick, cold darkness

Screaming inside as tears run down her face

It is then that she realizes,

She can never be free

Free of this horrid nightmare that is her life.
