A/N: This is all basically imagery, talking about appreciating beauty no matter where or who even if it’s just a snowflake. Sometimes we just need to take a step back and realize how good we have it. This person, I guess myself somewhat, puts aside all the worries and dealings that have them warped. Just standing their appreciating and living in the moment. I think sometimes we should all have this experience, just sort of a breather. Please tell me what you think.
A Gift to A Wilted Flower
Sparkling silver stars descend like a feather.
The skyscraping Evergreens welcome them in open arms together.
The crescendo of colors from the morning sun
Bounce off the silver stars as the true star is hung.
I feel my heart skip at the beautiful display
For once happiness in being a stray
I run free as a new born deer without knowledge to fear
Just to feel the wind whip across my face with the silver stars in their wake
Nothing of the material world just God’s creation
The majestic display only a tribute to our formation
I kiss the stars and close my eyes
I see only what I wish not to hide
Standing oblivious to the evils that surround
Leaves me in slight shock to see my treasures on the ground
I hold out my hands like the green towers
Hoping, with my childish heart,
That the silver stars will come once again to this wilted flower.
