Thou

by: Solstice

I called thee and sought thy name in the stars

But thou echo did forsake my raped ears

Shouted I, " Luckier are the beggars!"

For thou was changed, corrupted by thy fears

"Seize the day," breathed I, "Thou is needed here"

"Why must the rain forever endurest,"

"Thy pain, thy glare, thy hate, thy wretched sneer."

My plead, would not thee answer so honest

Did others mock thee in thy recent past?

Did they hurt thy heart filled with innocence?

Could earthbound humans condemn thee so fast?

Of which mind, to me, made a lot more sense.

Reap thy soul of all things "necessary"

And be thy truest self eternally.
