Clock

Wanting desperately to escape
Aim carefully but I still keep missing
Locked forever in a single instant
But somewhere a clock is ticking

Roaming far but still constrained
The bar of soap that is my life slipping
The sun that is my life fading
Somewhere a clock is ticking

Trapped by what you do
I wait here wanting, wishing
The tomorrow you have promised me, that shall never come
Forever and always my clock is ticking

A/N: this was written for an English assignment. we were supposed to write about a physical object that symbolized something more...anyways, i hope you like it. actually i dont care if u like it, i just said that to be nice. if u like it or dont like it, i dont particularly care either way. just be sure to tell me in a review...
