Like parasites
they're eating me away.
Should I say my last rites?
I could die any day.
It's all because of them,
the ones I used to call 'friends'.
All they did to me was condemn
as it was all fated to end.
But like parasites some stay
and it breaks my heart
that I'll be leaving in May
and from them I'll have to part.
But maybe it's for the best
maybe it will end the pain.
But I feel like I've failed the test,
I feel like I've missed my train
and I'm stuck here,
eaten away by parasites
and I fear,
next will come the termites.

This is just how I've been feeling in the friendship area. Especially because of the meaning of the word parasite: noun: an animal or plant that lives in or on a host (another animal or plant); the parasite obtains nourishment from the host without benefiting or killing the host. noun: a follower who hangs around a host (without benefit to the host) in hope of gain or advantage. Makes you think, doesn't it? Anyway, sorry to talk to much and to add this last bit to sponsor two forums of mine. There’s a writing forum I have, s10 . invisionfree . com / Writers(underline)of(underline)Bohemia (put everything together please, no www ) and my general, liberal, multi topics forum: s4 . invisionfree . com / Lost(underline)Souls(underline)Society (Cant blame a girl for trying) Remember to replace the (underline) by actual underlines
