If it was up to me...

I'd never let you go
I'd hold your hand in mine
I'd always let it show
your affection I'd never decline.
I'd kiss your neck, your hand,
until I felt like it.
With you I'd count the sand,
as many as math would permit.

We'd scream, we'd cry,
but laughter would arise.
We'd fight, we'd try,
but there'd be no surprise.

Falling together,
raising above,
maybe forever,
could it be love?

It'd be that and more
if only we could be free
I'd be yours...
If it was up to me.

Just another one of my poems, inspired by that girl. We were actually talking about a possibility of an ‘us’ and she asked me, if I wanted there to be an us and this poem was the result. (Not that you care about my sappy life) It’s just true, I feel like this decision is heavy. It can make and unmake things. Puerto Rico isn’t the best island to be bi at, especially at high school, I like her mom (and she would literally die, but not before taking me with her) and my mom, I don’t know… If I recall correctly, once she said she didn’t care if I was bi, that she just didn’t want me dating a specific girl who I was seeing then… I denied being bi… Stupid thing, I just didn’t want to break her heart. That was when I believed my heart to be less than everyone else’s, now it’s different, a difficult different…
Anyway, sorry to talk to much and to add this last bit to sponsor two forums of mine. There’s a writing forum I have, s10 . invisionfree . com / Writers(underline)of(underline)Bohemia (put everything together please, no www ) and my general, liberal, multi topics forum: s4 . invisionfree . com / Lost(underline)Souls(underline)Society (Cant blame a girl for trying) Oh and remember to put underlines in the actual underlines!
