Forget your goals
forget your dreams
it's all pointless
so it seems

You'll never accomplish
the one thing you wanted
so why go on anymore?
you've got nothing on it

You'll never pass this year
you'll never graduate
you'll never publish anything
this is your fate

To always be a failure
like you always were
no matter how hard you try
you can always be sure

you will always fail
it's all that you're good at
it's all you've ever done
at least you're good at that

Not everyone can make it through school
seems like you're one of those teens
failed an entire year and a half
you should be too embarrassed to be seen

So what's the point of even trying
if all you do is fail?
Why not just go get a job?
Quit school, just bail

No one is ever satisfied
with what you can do
parents, school, society
are all turned against you

You are never good enough
Why else would you fail?
Why else would you be so stupid?
You've already heard this tale

yet you keep on trying to prove something
at least accomplish one thing
prove to yourself that you're not so stupid
When will the fat lady sing?

You are just nothing
that's all you ever were and are
can't do anything right
you'll never be a shining star

You're just another person
fading in the crowd
you'll never accomplish anything
you never speak up loud

Always so passive
always letting it slide
hiding from society
your beliefs you hide

you can never remember anything
that you learn in school
can't study, lack of attention
drowning in that dark pool

So, why don't you just give up?
Haven't you had enough?
You know you'll never be able to do it
For you, life is just too tough
