So Long Ago
The songs of many birds filled the fresh spring morning. Butterflies danced lightly in the breeze like little faeries. A doe nibbled tentatively on a few tender pieces of grass. Sunshine came pouring in through the treetops, making beautiful patterns of light on the grass. A young girl sat quietly on a fallen tree, dangling her feet into a clear blue pond.
The girl watched all of the animals that came and went with interest. She admired the all of the flowers, and sang with all the birds. The world seemed to finally be at peace with itself. Then her mother could be heard calling her back to their little cottage. The girl rose and ran joyfully back to her house, blissfully unaware that she would not return for a very long time.
