You tried pushing away the feelings of that you're being watched, and concentrated on the ride. You tried not to look to your sides, as if your instinct forbids you from doing so. Somehow, your bicycle's front wheel was stuck between fallen branches on the road that you had unmanaged to avoid. It was a hard crash, and you rolled to the side of the road and your bicycle banged into a nearby tree.
Lying on your back on the road, as you glanced over to your sides you checked for any broken bones. Fortunately you only had a few minor bruises on your arms and cheek. That was when you sensed eyes watching you from the bushes. Once again, you tried to push the thoughts away. But somehow you know deep inside that you have indeed seen those mysterious eyes in the darkness of the shrubs. But still you told yourself it wasn't true what you've seen and tried to get up back on your feet.
The wind ceased blowing all in a sudden, it surprised you. You limped over to your bicycle, hoping that it wasn't badly damaged by the crash. You stopped still on your track when you see a hand slowly creeping out from the bushes in front of you. The hand was gnarled and wrinkled, as if belonged to a very old person. Ever since then the spot was said to be haunted by the spirit of the dead girl, who was seeking revenge upon her killers. The robbers were caught and thrown to prison for their misfits.
But the spirit of the murdered remains restless. You are having the misfortune of meeting the spirit itself. The hand that you saw belongs to the dead girl.
The hand crawled out from the bush towards you. You couldn't move, as if you're transfixed by it. You can see that the hand was severed, and the torso was half missing. The head was partly covered by long scraggly hair that dragged along the road. You tried to scream but your tongue felt numb. The body crept closer to you, the stench of rotten flesh filled the air.
The thing came closer and grabbed your feet, its hold was strong and cold. White maggots from the corpse crawled up your feet, but you couldn't move or run away. The still wind began to blow again, the gust lifted the hair from the thing's head. You couldn't help but starred into the features of the creature in front of you. What you saw terrified you that you opened your mouth into a silent scream.
The maggots were crawling up all over your body, some even went to your mouth -
