A/n.

This work of fiction is my friend Destiny's story.
After hearing my constant praising of this site she created her own story for fun.
It is under my pen name as she doesn't have a email address so couldn't set up her own account.
Any reviews will get back to her and she'll post any response or answers to your questions in the review section as Destiny (unsighed.)
Please keep in mind this is her first attempt at a story for a long time, she doesn't claim to be a writer but I am very proud of the work she is doing.
Any praise, comments or constructive criticism welcome but please no flames.
The following is an original work by Destiny.
The characters and plot are all her own.
This has no basis in fact.
Now, all the heavy stuff is out of the way.
Enjoy the story.

The way it was.

Chapter 1.

It was a rainy day and Gabriela was looking out of her window, watching the rain bounce off the pane.
She could see her reflection.
Her blue eyes looked like the deep oceans of all the sorrow that they carried and hid away.

She stared gormlessly into the clear pane of glass- while she reflected over everything.

Why doesn’t he like me?
Am I ugly?

I don’t think I am.
I wonder what people think of me and why they stare so cold.
What is wrong with me?
How come Rachel has all the things I don’t?
What is wrong?
Gab quickly stopped the vestige of thoughts as a crowd of girls looked threateningly at her, making unfriendly gestures.

Gabby threw herself onto her freshly made up bed and put a white, fluffed up pillow over her head.
Pushing her arms in so that she could hardly breathe.
She went dizzy.
Gabriela stood up quickly and locked her door.

She then ran over to her window and yanked it open, so she could see and hear the rain.

She stood there, shivering.
Suddenly she saw something out of the corner of her eye- that brought a dark idea into her head.

A sense of longing and power filled Gabriela’s soul.
So? They won’t care, she thought to herself.

They don’t care about you, no one does.

They probably won’t even realise your gone.
