Heaven and Hell

By Dameavar

At the end of a hall,

where you can soon dwell,

lies a great, finding window,

keeping heaven from hell.

Half shining through,

a beam of white light,

purging all darkness,

and clensing all night.

But the other side,

a deep, firery red,

stands a towering demon,

with black souls; all dead.

And so he waits,

unable to pass,

blocked almost entirely.

Almost, alas...

For another great being

holds him still there,

but sends many through,

His eyes shunning glare.

But those not to demon,

great God with a tear,

whilte His beaming joy

sets all minds aclear.

And as the last soul,

is welcomed; gold course,

the angels soar down,

and slaughter his force.

And now that the worlds

are free of each moan,

all with bow down

at the foot of His throne.
