A/N: I know that I should not be starting another story but this just came to me and I decided what the heck. So please r&r!
Disclamier: I own all of the characters, and you may notice some similarity between my story and Buffy the Vampire slayer, not my fault! It has some simillarities, but not enough! Enjoy
The crisp night air swept through out the city. The wind piercing everything it touched with it's cold breath. A lone figure walked in the dark, towards an unknown designation. It was hard to tell that anyone was there at all, his clothing and hair competiting against the darkness of the night. His raven black hair made his pale skin stand out even more. His clothes were mostly black, except for the red shirt he wore under his trench coat. As the wind blew around him, nothing moved. His hair and coat stayed in perfect place as if no wind had come by. A sudden noise sounded from behind the loner. He turned his head in the direction of the sound, but saw nothing. He quickened his pace. Most people would think it was funny to see a person half running and have walking, but this young man made it look eloquent. He soon came to a dark alley and turned into the darkness.
He placed his back against the wall and closed his eyes. He jumped at the voice that greated him. "Well well, what do we have here? You walked right into me, vampire." The vampire slowly opened his eyes, but showed no fear in his face. "Why have you been tracking me? What do you want?" He asked in a voice heavily drenched in an english accent. "I am a slayer and you are a vampire. Piece it together. Don't tell me that all vampires are this ignorant?!"
"Do not insult my kind, young slayer. You have much to learn if you think that you can take me on without any weapons. Find me again when you are ready for a real battle." The unknown vampire stated before dissapering into the night with the wind. The young slayer looked around, dumbfounded. He had just found at earlier that day from a mysterious woman that he was indeed a slayer, one to kill the undead and bring an end to their domain. He had no further instructions excpet for what to look for. He had no clue of what he was supposed to kill them with. Giving a frustrated growl he left the alley heading for his home.
"My lord? You are here earlier."
"Yes, well I needed to warn my men that we now have a so-called-slayer with us."
"A slayer? You know that there is no such thing Malicai." A voice echoed from the entrance.
"Yes we all know that, young Aiden. This boy tracked me all night, until I finally came to rest in an alley. He found me there and told me that he was a slayer. He had no weapons, nor experience. It seems that we may have one in training. Now who do you think would summon a slayer, Aiden?"
"Someone who is against us."
"Please use your brain. Katherine, she must be the one. She has the power to find a potential slayer and train them. We may not have believed in them in the past, but now is the time to. She will be training him and I think the next time that we met, he will be prepared for a battle. Aiden I want you to inform everyone of this, if that is, you don't think that it is to big a task for you."
"It's not Malicai."
"And Aiden?" Malicai called to the retreating back of his young clan member. "The name is Lord Malicai, you remember that, and the next time that you address me it had better be right."
The young slayer finds himself slouched on a torn up couch in a small dimly lit apartment. The apartment had a small of mold to it. The living room was small and only consist of the couch and a small tv. The kitchen was in a mess, with food left everywhere and the cabinets empty. The single bedroom consist of a lumpy mattress. It was all that the young slayer can afford. As he sat on the couch contemplating weather or not to believe what the woman told him or not, a white light suddenly fills the room. Holding his hand over his face, the young slayer tries to keep himself from being blinded.
"Gade, you are the one key to ending the darkness that revolves around this very city. You are to be the one to stop the vampires from taking any more territory and scaring the people of this land. You are the chosen slayer of this era."
"You already told me this, how do I fight them. I don't know what to do, I need guidance." Gade yelled at the bright light.
"And that my dear is what you shall get. You will get guidance and training for fighting these fiends. It will take time, but in that time you shall become the slayer you were born to be."
"Born to be?"
"Yes dear Gade, you entire purpose is to end this darkness. Before you were even born your fate was decided. There is nothing you can do to change it. This is the way things are. You have to be strong, Gade. Get pleanty of sleep for tomorrow we shall start your training. Be on your guard tonight though, if any vampires are to attack you, use a wooden stack. You will find one in your room."
With that the light vanished and Gade was left with unanswered questions.
