Two Worlds
Sunshine
lights the sky
An
endless ocean of liquid jewel
With
finely crushed pearls
Swirling
in the sea in the sky.
Birds
sing their sweet song
Like the
sirens of ancient legends
Just as
the moon to the tide
I am
drawn to listen.
The wind
like the waves
Down
float pink blossoms
From the
treetops
So
close, yet so far away.
We swim
endlessly, forever tiring
Trying
to change the course of our lives
But
swept under by the current.
Down
here I am
But up
there I live.
