Geena stared at her beautiful long white dress. She was now going to be married. She had reluctantly went to Pat’s though it had been hard to meet his wife Denise. She was beautiful and much better then Geena would ever be. Geena noticed that her maiden name Denis Ferdinand didn’t sound all that great but Denise Branch sounded quite lovely and she wondered if Geena Branch would ever sound good to her again. She knew however that she would no longer be Geena Silverman. She was now to be Geena Johnson. It sounded plain but she was not and neither was Jason and she knew this even after she’d walked down the isle to meet her new husband at the alter.
Courtney Maxwell walked down the isle towards Josh Buxton. At last, she thought. At last. At least my dreams and destinies were fulfilled unlike so many others in the world. At last. I am to be married and am to giving birth to children with the man of my dreams. I love him and I love my life. At last. She walked past her best friend Tanya who scowled instead of smiled at her best friend and it made Courtney want to laugh but didn’t as she didn’t want to be embarrassed. Josh smiled at her from the alter and then he took her hand and it was the happiest moment of her life.
Tanya felt lousy with no husband. She wanted to kick something. She hated herself. She hated everything in her life. She wanted to kill herself. She hated her life. It had terrible all the way through and she just wished that she was Callie Peters dead with no worries in life. She was happy in heaven and was probably with all the people that were in the Jaclyn Pond treacheries. Tanya had always wanted to meet them and she knew that she never ever would. She stared at her feet as Josh and Courtney said their vows. Why couldn’t that be her? She thought. Why oh why couldn’t it be her? She didn’t cry. She was beyond tears. She stared at the man next to her. “Come with me,” he said. “You looked depressed. I don’t think you want to see them when they are officially husband and wife?” Tanya shook her head and took the arm he offered and they walked out of the chuch. “Oh yeah,” he said. “Name’s Billy.” Tanya stared at him and did not take her eyes off him. It was love at first sight. She knew it was. She just knew it. “Oh,” she said finally. “I’m T-T-Tanya B-B-Burnham.” Why the hell did she have to stutter? “Tanya Burnham?” Billy repeated. “Pretty name I like it.” Tanya blushed. Oh why did girls blush so much? Why oh why oh why oh why oh why oh—He took her hand. She felt love rushing through her. She wanted to marry Billy. She wanted everything that had to do with Billy. She wanted his bed and his house and his love. She wanted so much but she wondered if this part of her life would be dashed too. But it wasn’t. About a year later she found herself walking down the isle just like Courtney had and she was happier then a rabbit. She was just so excited about her life ahead and knew that it would never be unsuccessful like the ones in Jaclyn Pond history.
