Spin

Ring around the Rosey

With a pocket full of poesy’s

Spinning twirling following

Never asking why

But up above are twinkling stars

Nearer than you think they are

Close your eyes and see the truth

Fall back and touch the sky

No matter faster faster still

Neither now for good or ill

Spin and sing and turn and twirl

Insufficient on your own

But soon those with you close their eyes

And as they fall back realize

They’re not content with simply spinning

They’re gone, you spin alone

Afraid of that which lies outside

Scared of change, your time you bide

Until you can at last let go

And stop your ceaseless fruitless spinning

Until then we, who’ve tempted fate

Who’ve lived and learned, will watch and wait

For you to join in our rejoicing

Of the end and the beginning

End

I kinda don’t know where how what or why this is or how it came to me and the rhymings weird, but tell me what you think any way!
