The government can hold you

Without charges or rights to bail

They can hold you for any length of time

They can let you rot in jail

This country was built on democracy

Everyone had to be treated fair

Now it seems that the government

Simply do not care

Look inside a prison camp

No chares for years on end

Apparently the government

Its own laws can bend

The government let this happen

They spread propaganda and fear

Apparently we’re in the headlights

Nothing but a stupid deer
