The suffering he goes through

Every single day,

Amazes me to no end

It’s just because he’s gay

They put him through hell

Ridicule and beat him up

But when he sees his boyfriend

His eyes are like a pup

He smiles through the pain

The bravest man I know

He never lets mistreatment

Get his spirits low

It’s nothing short of miraculous

How he goes through life

He has the greatest ability

To put up with the Strife

He deserves a medal for bravery

Not the crap he gets now

I will never put him through that

I take a solemn vow

If fact I’ll do better

I will stop this everywhere
